Sad and Confused

The original app was way easier to use and had more features. I can't find the survey says options and other fun game outlines that I want to use. It's not intuitive at all anymore and i found myself getting frustrated after trying to figure it out for over an hour. And just note, I still don't get it. This needs a massive overhaul. When creating a presentation, I should be asked if I'm just hoping to make a game, not an entire slideshow like Proclaim and ProPresenter already do at a much greater and more detailed level. Then, I should see a list of game outlines that I can quickly access (Survey Says, Spin the Wheel, Pick Me, and more). I just want a system I can create and run games off of--nothing more, but now I don't even have that. Please focus on games and the empowering of pastors to program their own games. Having all the extra stuff just makes it more difficult and challenging to use.

I agree fully! We very actively use the old system and can't find the utility in this new software at all. We already like many others use propresenter and having a few games in a web based shadow of propresenter type software is just not as useful and also does not seem to be inspiring as many creative new games to come out with regularity onto DYM.

Note that in my perusing around the list here now a majority of the feature requests now are not about what made dym awesome. They are about making this new software more like propresenter and similar software packages. Propresenter is a mature complex standalone software with a broader purpose than sidekick. It works great alongside legacy sidekick as a team already Awesome sidekicks don't try to reinvent themselves as replacing the superhero. Just be sidekick!
